The Accu-Roller is 20" long and 2" wide.  The pin comes with four spacers that allow you to roll the dough to perfect  1/16", 1/8", 1/4" or 3/8" thicknesses.   The spacers are easy to remove and even easier to store.

The rolling surface on the Dobord is just 14" 
so the Accu-Roller with it's 20" surface allows 
us to roll a lot more dough each time.

When we roll dough we put parchment paper above and below the dough.  This helps keep dough from sticking (to the board or the pin) and also means we don't have to add additional flour!

After we roll the dough we put it and the parchment paper on a cookie sheet and refrigerate it or just a short time.  Then we take off the top sheet of parchment paper and it's ready -- and easy -- to cut!

The chilled dough is not only easy to cut, it's easy to transfer to the cookie sheet.
