Beverly's Party Chicken
When my dear friend Beverly sent me this recipe I
was, to say the least, skeptical. I couldn't believe you could combine
this strange list of ingredients and get something that tasted good.
However, knowing Beverly I knew she wouldn't
recommend anything that wasn't excellent so I gave it a try! It really is
incredible and it is so easy! Trust me on this one.
Hint: After making it I did decide that I had way more sauce than I
needed so I'll probably cut everything but the chicken
in half when I make it again.
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 can cranberry sauce -- with cranberries
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 bottle fat free Catalina salad dressing
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put a small amount of the dressing into the
bottom of a 8 x 9 baking pan.
Lay chicken breasts in pan. Sprinkle chicken with dry onion soup mix and
spoon on cranberry sauce.
Top with the rest of the salad dressing. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Serve with rice.
