"I do not like broccoli. And I haven't liked it since I was a little kid and my mother made me eat it. And I'm President of the United States and I'm not going to eat any more broccoli." George Bush, U.S. President (1990)

This is a GREAT recipe.  I can even get my 14 year-old to eat broccoli when I fix this dish.  It's also a great "do ahead"
dish if you need to take something to take to a pot luck or are having a dinner party.

Marinated Broccoli

Marinated Broccoli

1 bunch broccoli -- cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup cider vinegar
1 T. dill
1 T. salt
1 T. Sugar
1 T. garlic powder
1 T. Accent seasoning (this is what "cooks" the broccoli)

Mix oil, vinegar and seasonings.  Pour into a zip-lock bag.  Add the broccoli pieces and seal the bag.  Mix gently and
refrigerate overnight.  Enjoy!

This recipe will keep for a few days but once your family and friends taste it it won't last long.  Also, make sure you
make copies of the recipe for the many people who will ask for it.
